The Compassion Annual Rally in Portland, Maine is here. Our family is already here in Portland and so are several groups of youth, young adults, adults, families from across the Atlantic Union. Over 1,000 have registered and indicated they will be actively participating during the weekend’s Compassion Mission Projects and the Compassion March Against Domestic Violence on Saturday afternoon.

We are grateful to the Compassion Team here in Portland for the great job they have done in preparing to host the Atlantic Union and others who are coming from beyond our borders.

Quickly, take a look at some of the following updates:

SCHEDULE FOR THE COMPASSION ANNUAL RALLY WEEKEND

Schedule has been posted in our website, to check Updated Schedule, please click here: http://compassion-now.org/schedule/

*A time for Fellowship, Popcorn, and Songs to start the Sabbath has been added for groups that are available to come to Pine Tree Academy. In the original schedule Vespers was to be done by individual groups, at each place of lodging. Now both options are available. Whichever, option works best for your group. Please, make sure that the beginning of Sabbath is a beautiful experience for your group.

COMPASSION MISSION PROJECTS

We begin early tomorrow.

Scott Campbell, our Compassion Mission Projects Coordinator in Portland, has worked with Milca Amich, the Administrator Assistant  of the Adventist Youth Ministries Department, and Kurt Amos, Project Coordinator in Portsmouth, to make sure that we communicate with the leaders of each group, which signed up for projects. By now, your group leader has received a confirmation for the projects.

Group Leader, please check your confirmation and report to your project on time every morning. As it was indicated, we will not have a gathering before the projects, we will have worship as groups in our places of lodging, and go directly to our projects.

Scott Campbell will be available to help at our Compassion Headquarters tomorrow and on Saturday (till 10:30 AM). If by any chance you need to get in touch with him, feel free to contact:
